Is American Idol Getting Less Popular? True Blood Star…
Hello! My Friends, I’ve been on vacation for a few weeks. Since, I’m back I would like to update you on some Gossip in Entertainment.

It’s rumored that American Idol is on the decline and their viewing audience is becoming less and less. It makes me wonder if that’s really the case. Since, Ryan Seacrest is going to be getting paid over 40 million dollars for the next few seasons. It’s my opinion that the extra money that’s going to Ryan Seacrest should go more towards marketing and the new talent they find through the American Idol process.
What about Paula Abdul? The producers of the show are thinking about letting her go, and not renewing her contract. Paula Abdul is the funniest judge on American Idol. I think it would be sad to see Paula go. To me, she brings some flavor to the show.
Sources say that American Idol might be off the air in 2012. American Idol’s audience has been on the decline for a while now. It has been declining since 2006. Fox Network is thinking about bringing the best and the most popular American Idol’s back to compete in the final season of American Idol. Now that would be an exciting competition. It would be interesting who the audience would pick as their favorites. Would it be Clay Aiken,Fantasia,Daughtry,or Carrie Underwood?

It was sad to hear about American Idol contestant, Alexis Cohen from Allentown, Pa. Alexis was struck by a car while crossing the road in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. I give my condolences to her friends and family.

True Blood lovers Anna Paquin and her co-star Stephen Moyar are a real life couple off screen. They were seen taking a stroll in Santa Monica with Stephen’s 7 year old son. Stephen left his girlfriend of 7 years to be with his costar Anna Paquin.
It’s amazing to see the little girl that won an Oscar for “The Piano” at age 11 is all grown up and has her own hit show “True Blood” on HBO. People have a love affair with her character Sookie and her Vampire beau on True Blood. “True Blood” adds spice to HBO.
